Autumn at Macedon

Updated: Feb 9, 2020

Mount Macedon is famous for its autumn colours, and nowhere may this be enjoyed more than at Tieve Tara and Forest Glades Gardens.

The abundant foliage includes maples, pin oaks, aspens, liquid ambers, silver birches, golden and claret ash, copper beech, Virginia creepers.

As the muted colours of summer give way to the rich hues of autumn the gardens become a blaze of red and yellow.

Both are private gardens with a $10 entry fee for adults and children are free, so very family friendly.
