The Ansett Reunion was held this evening at the Royal Melbourne Hotel in Bourke Street.
Ansett Australia was a major Australian airline group, based in Melbourne. The airline flew domestically within Australia and from the 1990s to destinations in Asia. After operating for 66 years, the airline was placed into administration in 2001 and then into liquidation in 2002.
Tonight's event bought together past colleagues, some who had not seen each other for many years. They recalled lots of fun memories working at Ansett during the airline's peak with their colleagues and have already started planing an even bigger event in the future.
