It was busy at the Safety Beach Jetty tonight as the sunset. It had been a hot Summer Day and there was a lot of activity at the boat ramp along side the jetty. Holiday makers were still on the beach and some just dropped by to watch the sunset.
The beach-front community of Safety Beach is nestled between Mount Martha and Dromana located on Marina Drive on Melbourne's beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
Safety Beach takes its name from the calm and shallow waters of Dromana Bay, where there is a small jetty on the coast next to a boat ramp. while the coastal road of Marina Drive separates housing and commercial areas from the foreshore and the beach.
Safety Beach is a particularly scenic spot, with views to the peak of Mount Martha in the north and to Arthurs Seat in the south.
